The home of the Seattle Mariners...

View from some great seats I got to enjoy last season...

The Guinness Brewery in Dublin, Ireland.

Pictures...

I recently went through my picture files...wow...sure are a lot of pics on my little pc. Thought I'd share some of my faves...

Two of my most favorite people in the world!

One of my most favorite places... good old Deka Lake.

Eagles Nest (Hitler's Hidaway) in Germany.

Sigh...

Well I'm not entirely sure but I seem to always get sad guy related news around my birthday...the higher ups seem to have it out for me around my birthday...such is life I suppose.

With that said...it's officially time to get over a very long standing crush. It's time to give up any hope of more than what we were, and even then I couldn't probably define exactly what we were. Sigh.

Oh well right? I did say something recently about starting fresh and meeting new men didn't I? Now it seems I must hold myself to that!

Getting excited for the upcoming week...lots going on. My sister is here and will be able to celebrate my birthday with me - yay! Friends are taking me for dinner on thursday night...friday is nothing...saturday I've got brunch for my mom and running around and then back to the house for the party here.

Today I'm going for a walk as it's absolutely gorgeous out and I need to go out and be active!

This is 'laughter' on my left wrist...I get a lot of compliments on this one. Most people think it suits me which makes me smile :)
This is the chinese '3' on my foot.

This is little miss Joey aka JoJo, Joe, Josephine, Cutie Pie, etc (I think you get the picture)

Boring update alert...

Well I wish I could say that I haven't been posting because I'm out and about and too damn busy - but that's not the case at all. Life has been very quiet lately and I've been okay with it until recently. So I'm trying to get out more and be a bit more active.

Homelife has improved...the renters below us have vacated and that is a huge relief to all of us. There is a nice gentleman moving in shortly and I hope it all works out ok. Joey is growing by the day and she's determined to make the other two cats more playful and friendly. Not entirely sure that it's working but she is trying.

Work is great. I recently passed the 2 year mark there and got a raise and a bump to salary which is nice. It's nice to know they notice the hard work I do and my commitment to them. I now have sick days and a few other perks. Not that I ever get sick!

No new boys to speak of but I definately must get back on the dating scene soon. I need to start fresh and I think I'm getting closer to being ready for that.

And now, I'm coming up to my 31st birthday and am getting ready to celebrate that!

The Week of Committments

Well I'm a first time mommma. I have entered the world of cat ownership. She's absolutely a doll and after a week is finally integrated into the house with the other two cats (who are slightly set in their ways). That is committment #1.

Committment #2 was a tattoo - well actually two. I'm pleased to say I finally jumped in and got myself a couple small (and very tasteful I might add) tattoos. One more to come in April which is going to be a little more complex but still very tasteful. Yay.
